Outraged by the disparity of girls in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) fields, a team of ten high school girls came together with a mission of empowering girls to explore the world of STEAM. 

 

STEAM Sisters are classes specialized for young girls to learn and experiment in ranging topics of STEAM. Mentorships are also created between high school girls and professionals in STEAM. STEAM Sisters calls for the exploration of interests and increase in self-esteem as girls collaborate with peers and experience the power of women in STEAM.​

Each class is dedicated to science, technology, engineering, art, or math. In each class, girls will complete hands-on projects relating to each category, learn about careers , understand how these subjects affect our future, receive resources to be involved in these subjects like clubs or classes, meet professionals or prestigious clubs in the subjects, interact with others, and more!
